Crop calendar assessment & monitoring objective is to assess the crop growing conditions and detect any change in the calendar associated with main crops due to changing agro-climatic conditions. The Crop Calendar is a tool that provides timely information about seeds to promote local crop production. The product provided once at year contains information on the phenological cycle in terms of SOS (Start of Season), EOS (End of Season), DOYG (Day of Maximum Growth), DOYS (Day of Maximum Secescence), DOYM (Day of Maximum NDVI).

Layers Description:
Crop calendar, that is obtained from ASAP and SPAM data, gives information on planting, sowing and harvesting periods of locally adapted crops in specific agro-ecological zones. The product gives a ten-bands raster containing the phenological calendar for main crops type in the pixel. Band 1 = Start Of Season (season 1), Band 2 = Start Of Season (season 2), Band 3 = Max Of Season (season 1), Band 4 = Max Of Season (season 2) , Band 5 = End Of Season (season 1), Band 6 = End Of Season (season 2), Band 7 = Start Of Senescence (season 1), Band 8 = Start Of Senescence (season 2), Band 9 = number of season and finally Band 10 gives the main crop present in the area. The crop considered are: 1 = Barley, 2 = Bean, 3 = Cassava, 4 = Maize, 5 = Rice, 6 = Sorghum, 7 = Sugarcane, 8 = Wheat. The value -11 is assigned to No-data pixel.

S2-P04: Crop Type and Phenology : List of Layers
Layers Description:
This product, obtained from ASAP and SPAM data, returns a shapefile containing for each county (level 1 of administrative limits) the crop types present and the corresponding phenology parameters. In this case the phenology parameters are 4: Start Of Season (season 1) , End of the Start Season, End Of Season, End Of the End Season. In this case the following crop types are considered: rice, millet, sorghum, maize, cassava, yams, barley, wheat, groundnut, cowpea, soybean, beans, teff, cereals, oats, but for each county a maximum number of 8 crop types is allowed. The phenology time are given in decade unit and can cover a period of three years.
