The climate projection products provide projected climate change in a number of variables and indices for predefined future time periods and for a number of Global Warming Levels (+1.5º, +2º, etc.). The projections are based on a multi-model ensemble of Coordinated Regional climate Downscaling Experiment (CORDEX) simulations for Africa at about 50km resolution. The products are presented as total fields for baseline and future periods and as projected future anomalies from the baseline period. The significance and robustness of the climate change signal is also provided.

Annual mean temperature and precipitation are provided through the main AfriCultuReS platform as static layers (spatial maps). Full access to the CORDEX projections is available from a dedicated AfriCultuReS climate data portal (https://africultures.ifca.es). The portal allows temporal (any season or month) and spatial (a country or any region) subsetting and subsequent visualization and download of spatial maps and time series.
